Hero League Update

written by Julia Ruprecht

The first part of the Swisscom Hero League found its end! That’s why we decided to give you an update about the results of our players and what awaits them in the next part!

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Our CS:GO boys didn’t have an easy start in the League. In the first weeks they had to go up against the strongest teams in the league and in the third week they were finally able to get a win. Player HeyPynello! is looking forward to the semifinal against the team of SILENTGAMING, because he really likes to play against them. The game will be really close, according to him. The outcome depends on the daily performance of the individual players.
Don’t forget to tune in on the 3rd of November to see them play for their spot in the finals.

Hearthstone

In Hearthstone we have good and bad news for you: Mentalist sadly didn’t make it into the Playoffs. He ends his journey with an end score of 8-12.
StrikeReaper however made it! He wasn’t entirely satisfied with his results and he hoped to perform better in the semifinals – which he managed with success! He was able to beat Hypno and he’s still on track to defend his title.
We wish him good luck in the finals which will take place on November 22nd live at the Herofest.

League of Legends

Also our League of Legends team made it into the semifinals! The previous results were good, but manager Beasttg thinks that they could have performed better. He’s slightly disappointed that they’ve given away the first place to Postfinance Helix shortly before the end. Nevertheless, he’s convinced that they’ve learned some important things from the games! Now they have enough time to prepare for the semifinal which will be played on the 17th November.
Make sure to tune in to see them get their revenge against SILENTGAMING.

Clash Royale

This season was a lot calmer  for our Clash Royale player Senpai Rekt. He only lost his matches in the 6th and 7th week. In the semifinals he will go up against Jumanji. Senpai sees himself in a better spot, because – unlike his opponent – he already gained some experience in playing live on stage. His goal is clearly to get into the final and of course to defend his title.
The semifinals and the final will be played on the 22nd November live at the Herofest. Make sure to come by and cheer for Senpai Rekt!
