At the beginning of this year we welcomed “patrickfneymar” as our very first Fifa player. Sadly, we parted ways with him as the new Fifa 2020 was released. However, we were on the look out for upcoming new talents with potential and so we are very pleased to announce that we will finish the year with a new Fifa player among us. We warmly welcome Ruben “Bown” Pereira.
The player
Bown is a rather young player in the scene. Nevertheless, he was able to demonstrate his skills on a few occasions. Around a year ago, he started playing online tournaments and for nine months now he’s been competing with other players on a higher level. His biggest achievement so far was his victory at the Emmen Center E-Sport Week where he played alongside other well known Esport athletes, such as Manuel “Zenik11” Illi and Vinicius “vinigant” Gantenbein.
We asked Bow how he organizes his training sessions and what he focuses on:
I train 1-2 hours on weekdays and on weekends a bit more. A lot of people think that you get better by playing the game a lot. In the beginning it makes sense to concentrate on playing the game for hours to get to know the game, but I think it’s way more effective to train with a certain goal. Analyse your games, figure out your mistakes and work on them – that’s my strategy.
We also wanted to know what he expects from the collaboration with us and what his goals for the future are:
In collaboration with mYinsanity, I hope to get noticed in the national scene first and maybe also internationally with my strong skills. In the near future I aim to qualify myself for the Swiss Championship and to at least reach the semifinals, which should be doable from my point of view.
We are looking forward to the upcoming events and we wish Bown good luck!
